The foundation
speaks for itself.
These are the students who committed to The Ral Rise System™ — and what happened when they did. First chairs. State titles. Full scholarships. Professional careers. And a confidence that started in middle school and never left.
Summer Camargo —
Juilliard Scholar &
SNL Orchestra.
Summer Camargo holds a very special place in Mr. Ral's heart. She came to him as a middle school student in Broward County — committed, coachable, and willing to do the work. Together they built the foundation, the discipline, and the belief that carried her further than almost any young trumpet player in the country has gone.
Summer earned a full scholarship to The Juilliard School. At just 22 years old — while still attending school — she became the first female trumpet player in the history of the Saturday Night Live Band, and one of the youngest musicians ever to join the show.
Where the foundation takes students.
Students who commit to The Ral Rise System™ go on to earn scholarships to some of the most competitive music programs in the country — full and partial.
What happens before college.
Scholarships are the result of years of work. Here's what that work looks like in middle school and high school — where Mr. Ral builds the foundation that makes everything else possible.
Students consistently earn first chair positions in competitive school and district bands. This is often the first result parents notice — and it typically happens within the first few months of the system.
All-State band is one of the highest honors a middle or high school musician can earn. Mr. Ral students have earned All-State placements consistently across Florida and beyond.
Students have placed first in regional and state-level competitions. The audition mindset built in Phase Four of the system is specifically designed for competitive performance environments.
Placement in honor bands requires both technical excellence and performance consistency. The Ral Rise System™ prepares students for both — and the results show in audition seasons.
Former students perform professionally across the country — in orchestras, bands, and touring ensembles. Several have gone on to careers in music performance at the highest levels.
The discipline and identity built through The Ral Rise System™ inspires many students to become teachers themselves — passing the same foundation to the next generation of musicians.
In their own words.
Real families. Real results. These testimonials will be updated with screenshots as they are collected. The stories below reflect what parents tell us after working with Mr. Ral.
I was worried we'd wasted two years on the wrong teacher. Ethan was frustrated, embarrassed in band, and ready to quit. Four months with Mr. Ral and he's first chair. He practices now without me asking. I can't explain the difference — but I see it every single day.
We tried two other teachers before Mr. Ral. Both were fine — but my daughter never grew. After her first Performance Evaluation, she came home and said "he's the first teacher who actually explained why." That was eight months ago. She just won her first competition.
We're in Texas — found Mr. Ral online after searching for months for someone serious. Three months in, my son's range expanded by a full octave and his band director asked what happened. Nothing happened. He just finally has a real teacher.

Scholarships and first-chair placements are the visible outcomes. But they are built on something deeper — a confident, disciplined identity that Mr. Ral builds in every student from the very first session.
Most of Mr. Ral's students begin in middle school — when self-belief is most fragile and most formative. What The Ral Rise System™ builds in that window isn't just a trumpet player. It's a young person who knows how to show up, do hard things, and believe in their own progress.
That identity doesn't stay in the practice room. It shapes who they are in school, in auditions, in college, and in their careers.

The Performance Evaluation is where Mr. Ral meets your child, evaluates exactly where they are, and gives you the roadmap for where they can go. Every student on this page started there.
