Here's exactly what happens
in those 45–60 minutes.

01
Mr. Ral meets your child

Before anything else, he builds a connection. He wants to know who your child is — not just how they play. Their goals, their frustrations, what they love about music, what's been holding them back. This isn't small talk. It's the foundation everything else is built on.

Minutes 1–10
02
The evaluation

Your child plays. Mr. Ral listens with 40 years of expertise — identifying the exact technique gaps, habit patterns, and developmental opportunities that are holding them back. Parents often tell us this is the first time anyone has actually listened to their child play with this level of attention.

Minutes 10–25
03
The first tailored lesson

Based on what he just discovered, Mr. Ral delivers a lesson built specifically for your child — not a standard curriculum, not a generic warm-up. Real, targeted work on the exact things that will move them forward. Most students notice a difference within the session itself.

Minutes 25–50
04
Your roadmap

Mr. Ral shares exactly what he found, where your child is in their development, and the specific path forward. He'll recommend the right lesson format and frequency for your child's goals — and answer every question you have. No pressure. No obligation. Just clarity.

What parents ask before booking.

My child has never played. Is this still right for them?
Absolutely. Mr. Ral works with beginners all the way through advanced students preparing for competitive auditions. The Performance Evaluation is designed to meet your child exactly where they are — there is no wrong level to start at.
Is there any obligation to continue after the evaluation?
None at all. The Performance Evaluation stands completely on its own. You will leave with a real lesson, a real roadmap, and Mr. Ral's honest recommendation — and what you do with that is entirely your choice. Most families continue, because they see the results immediately.
My child already has a teacher. Why would we switch?
You don't have to decide that before booking. The Performance Evaluation will show you exactly what your child is missing and what a structured system looks like. Many parents book it simply to understand where their child actually stands. What you do after is up to you.
How does the online session work — is it as effective?
Yes. All of Mr. Ral's lessons are online, and his students achieve the same results regardless of location — first chairs, All-State placements, full scholarships. The session runs via video call. Your child needs their trumpet and a decent internet connection. That's it.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
Mr. Ral has spent 40 years working with young musicians. Building trust is the first thing he does in every session. Tell him your child is nervous — he'll handle it. Parents are always welcome to be present for the full session.
What happens after the Performance Evaluation?
At the end of the session Mr. Ral gives you his personal recommendation — which monthly program is right for your child, and why. From there you can enroll in the Foundation Program ($356/month, 30-min weekly lessons) or the Full System Program ($596/month, 60-min weekly lessons). Both are billed monthly in advance. There is no obligation to enroll, but most families do — because the evaluation makes the decision obvious.

Over 1,000 students.
One consistent result.

Every student who commits to The Ral Rise System™ becomes a top performer. The Performance Evaluation is how that journey begins — with clarity, not guesswork.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Performance Evaluation. Within 20 minutes I understood exactly what my son had been doing wrong for two years. Ral didn't just evaluate him — he explained everything to us both in a way no teacher ever had. We enrolled in the Full System Program before we even got off the call.

My daughter came home from that first session and picked up her trumpet without me asking. That had never happened. Ever. Whatever Mr. Ral did in 60 minutes, it lit something in her. The roadmap he gave us was specific, honest, and exactly what we needed to hear.

We did the Performance Evaluation not sure if we would continue. Mr. Ral was honest about where our son stood, specific about what was holding him back, and clear about what the path forward looked like. That honesty is what made us trust him. Eight months later — first chair.
